Wednesdays with Words: The Fullness Thereof

I know that this is a several week old picture and many of you have seen it on my instagram feed already, but these words continue to re-sound in my head.  Possibly because it is currently the passage we’re memorizing during Circle Time, but likely because I need to hear them.  The earth is the Lord’s, and I can face all things because I am united to Christ. The fullness of the earth is his, I need not fear. Anything.
As part of my own learning (schole’), I decided to try calligraphy again. It is an art I enjoyed when I was young, although I wasn’t very good at it.  Maybe I can improve now.  Perhaps I should focus on my spelling, too …
Please excuse my lateness in posting and commenting and all other items related to this blog.  Shingles is no joke, y’all. I hope you will continue joining me on Wednesdays, it is my favorite blogging day of the week and I know many of you enjoy following each other’s words.
I promise I will get around to your posts as soon as I can.  Your prayers would not be unappreciated.

  1. Shingle – not fun! Hope you are over that soon. I've had a calligraphy book for many years and have never got around to trying it.

    1. Thank you, I'm almost to week 2 and am starting to feel better, but tire quickly.

I'd love to see what you try if you decide to!

  2. That tiny e might my favorite thing ever!

Get better, lady…I miss you. The internet's a happy place with you around!

    1. Thanks, Kort and Heather. It's more fun for me when I'm around, too. I miss my friends when incapacitated.

  3. I am so sorry you are unwell. 🙁 Prayers for a quick recovery. And I too enjoy calligraphy but haven't pulled it out in years–you are making me feel like I should, for some fun!

    1. There are no 'should's here, Celeste! I partially got it to practice before I give a set to M-girl for her 11th birthday in the fall. That being said, I'd love to see what you do. There's an amazing calligrapher I follow on instagram, Colors of Christ (http://i.instagram.com/colorsofchrist/) who has been inspiring, but intimidating too.

  4. Somehow I missed that you've been afflicted with shingles (kind of in my own little world at the moment). So sorry you're going through that. I had it 8+ years ago while I was pregnant and it was such a horrible experience. Praying for your recovery and sending you lots of get well thoughts!

    1. This is the first I've made it public. I can't imagine being pregnant too. I have a relatively mild case, I think, but it is still awful. I appreciate your prayers, you and your expected babe are in mine!

  5. Dawn! Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear about your shingles. I wondered how I missed this, but now I see you didn't say until now. Oh my dear, I'm praying for you and I have missed your cheering presence. Rest up and we will all still be here. 🙂 xoxo
