FOR TODAY

Outside my window… it’s still dark.  And cold.

I am thinking…
about starting school today.

I am thankful…
for the right and ability to educate my children.

In the kitchen…
we had a party yesterday and there are still plates and cups to run through the dishwasher.

I am wearing…
sweat pants and Buckeye shirt.

I am creating… a new lesson template and schedule.  I’ll share later.

I am going… to take the children for donuts on this first day of school.

I am wondering… if the new schedule will even work.

I am reading… Pride and Predator.

I am hoping… that I’ll feel better soon.  This head cold is no fun.

I am looking forward to… the new Titus 2 women’s groups beginning on Saturday at church.

I am learning… how to get up at 6:30.

Around the house… some straightening, and dishes are needed.  A little laundry.  The school room is in desperate straights.  We’re doing school downstairs today.

I am pondering… coffee.  I want to finish this bottle of water first, though.

A favorite quote for today…  “Because as Ben had become immersed in history and American studies, he
stopped even asking what he might want to be, while he studied what he
wanted to know.” Sally S Wright in Publish and Perish

One of my favorite things… getting back onto routine.

A few plans for the rest of the week…
school, school, school, school.  N-boy starts indoor soccer tonight.

A peek into my day…

  1. We had a full day of school today too. It seems like so many people are sick right now. Hope you feel better soon 🙂
