Yuletide Session: The past several days’ events
Sunday was worship and a bridal shower for my sister. And a lot of snow.
Yesterday, we hung the roping around our family room and foyer:
Today, we made Chex Mix! (It smells really wonderful in here right now!)
This picture isn’t roasted yet, but that isn’t much of a change really 🙂
Looks lovely! Do you have a certain recipe you use for the Chex mix?
I use the one on the Chex box (I use a mixture of Wheat, Corn, and Rice), replacing the bagel pieces with cheerios. I add more pretzels (they're my favorite) and use mixed nuts & peanuts.
My grandparents always made *tons* of this and filled empty Folgers coffee jars every year. Yum!
