Well, being the total nerd I am, I just watched the first episode of Scott Bakula portraying Capt. Jonathan Archer on the Enterprise. I have to admit I had to think of Mark’s comments regarding feminism and the portrayal of women when watching T’Pol and her
Otherwise, it was pretty good. Had the whole “flashback to childhood” thing going on that seems so popular now (I do like it. Its like foreshadowing in the middle of the action). The story was interesting. There were a couple of scenes that were dark and hard to see the action. I don’t think we’ve seen the end of the baddies. And, two hours of Scott Bakula is never a bad thing. (What? He’s a good actor. He even made Necessary Roughness a worthwhile film – well he and Rob Schneider “fumble, fumbalaya …”)
