We went to Lebanon yesterday to see (and be a part of) our nephew, Emmett’s baptism. Their pastor did a very nice job, teaching that baptism is God chosing (in this case) Emmett and making him a part of the family of faith. Janie, Jason’s sister, had a house full after the worship service as she invited the families for dinner. The food was good, the conversation was good, and we had a nice visit. It is nice for Meg to get to see Jason’s family some more because we live so close to my family that she sees them a lot.

The day only made me want to get Meg’s baptism done even more! It’ll probably be in February some time after our pastoral visit.
