Two funny things from today:

We had dinner with Jim tonight on his way home from NC. I told my boss around 2:30 that I needed to scoot a few minutes early because we were having dinner with a friend from the net. On my way out, I told him that I was heading home, and he said, “He’s coming to your house?” with this incredulous look on his face. I was amused.

The second was while we were we were at Barley’s Smokehouse. I was looking up at the tv and noticed one of the Dennis Franz Nextel commercials – you know the ones where he keeps saying he doesn’t do commercials? – anyway, it was in the restaurant so they had it muted. And the closed captioning was on. I thought that was pretty ironic.

We had a really nice dinner with Jim.
