The Simple Woman’s Daybook for October 15, 2012

FOR TODAY

Outside my window… it’s still dark.

I am thinking… voting.

I am thankful… for a great weekend celebrating.  M-girl’s EIGHT!

In the kitchen… cupcakes for soccer snack tonight are waiting for some sort of decoration.

I am wearing… jammies.  I’m letting the children sleep in a little after the big weekend.

I am creating… a robot costume for trick or treat.  Collecting boxes.

I am going… to enjoy this last week of soccer.

I am wondering… at Jesus’ benediction.

I am reading… Bonhoeffer.  Forever and ever, amen.

I am hoping praying … for our church’s intern/called associate as he goes before Presbytery this week for his Theology exam. 

I am looking forward to… Hilton Head!

I am learning… about Bonhoeffer’s life.  I had no idea he served a year in Barcelona.

Around the house… the school room needs serious attention.

I am pondering… drama, doctrine, doxology, and discipleship as a framework for a solid Christian worldview and faith.  We had a great Sunday School lesson, too.

One of my favorite things… Sunday School.  I enjoy sitting next to my husband and learning.
