FOR TODAY

Outside my window… it’s a little overcast and drizzly. Not so perfect for swim lessons.

I am thinking…
about drinking coffee.  Sounds like the coffee pot just finished.

I am thankful…
for a wonderful party for R-girl yesterday.  She had a great time.

In the kitchen…
my dishwasher was a workhorse … every plate in the house went through it and came out spotless.

I am wearing…
shorts and polo shirt.  Comfy.

I am creating… nothing, post-cake.

I am going… to swim lessons and a baseball game.  N-boy’s last one!

I am wondering… about Egypt and what will happen there.  Praying for the Christians in that nation.

I am reading… finishing Tending the Heart of Virtue.  I’ve also read the first chapter from Five Red Herrings by Dorothy Sayers.

I am hoping… in the Redeemer that Job looked to in the shadowy future.

I am looking forward to… the end of baseball season.  R-girl still has three games …

I am learning… about literature I haven’t read.

Around the house… we had a party yesterday, it looks pretty nice.  I do have ironing and laundry to fold.

I am pondering… our Circle Time and how we review memory work.

A favorite quote for today… “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.” Job 19:25

One of my favorite things… swimming.  I love going to the pool.  I like seeing my kiddos learning how to swim.

A few plans for the rest of the week…
swim lessons, clean the kids’ bedrooms, piano lessons, baseball, t-ball, school.  Fun 🙂

A peek into my day…

Perspective makes this cake look huge! LOL.  The colors are better, though.
