The Simple Woman’s Daybook for August 20, 2012

FOR TODAY

Outside my window… perfection.  Sunny, a crisp breeze.  Beautiful.

I am thinking…
about starting lessons.

I am thankful…
that we got to visit with Lenise and the boys on Saturday.

In the kitchen…
I made lasagna and panna cotta on Saturday and it was yummy.

I am wearing…
jeans skirt and green top.

I am creating… a newly organized loft school room.  We got about halfway done on Saturday.  Anybody want a computer desk (or two?)

I am going… to the park later.

I am wondering… what the day will bring.

I am reading… Summer of the Great-Grandmother and Moonwalking with Einstein.

I am hoping… to finish one of those books soon.

I am looking forward to… football season – just a couple of weeks!

I am learning… more about my children.

Around the house… the loft is like a tossed salad.  But the kids rooms are cleaned up some.

I am pondering… what is the world and how it reacts to Christ and those identified with him.  Great sermon yesterday.

A favorite quote for today…

One of my favorite things… doughnuts on the first day of school 🙂

A few plans for the rest of the week…
not a lot.  Hallelujah.

A peek into my day…
