The Simple Woman’s Daybook for August 13, 2012

FOR TODAY

Outside my window… it’s chilly and pleasant. 

I am thinking… about starting lessons in a few minutes.

I am thankful… that I submitted my “Notice of Intent to Homeschool” on time – a little early even!

In the kitchen… things are tidied and generally put away.

I am wearing… jeans shorts and yellow tshirt. 

I am creating… nothing much. 

I am going… to see the last two cars on Jason’s list today so we can make sure the children fit 🙂

I am wondering… which car he’ll end up buying.

I am reading… Wodehouse’s Right Ho, Jeeves!

I am hoping… to fold and iron during quiet time.

I am looking forward to… going to a Clipper’s game soon.

I am learning… about Christ’s intercession on our behalf.  Our pastor is preaching through John 17 and it is so very good.

Around the house… I vacuumed and did some minor straightening this morning.  That helps.

I am pondering… our school room and the changes I want to make.
