A teacher took a child’s Pokemon cards. The boy was so upset and claimed that he was “picked on by teachers and was contemplating suicide.” Over Pokemon Cards?? His family was eventually forced to change his school because he was expelled after his mother and the head teacher wrangled as far as racial harrassment charges. Now:

The Times said family members have started a “Justice for Jevan” campaign, pledging to take action against the school, the police and the local education authority.

Hello?? I mean, I’m certain not everything is in this story, but it seems to me that he hadn’t been taught proper respect for teachers or for education – and a bit too much regard for Pokemon.
