The Simple Woman’s Daybook for October 17, 2011
FOR TODAY October 17, 2011 …
Outside my window… cool with crisp blue skies. A perfectly autumnal day.
I am thinking… about getting chores and lessons started.
I am thankful… for the wonderful time we had for M-girl’s birthday party.
From the learning rooms… nature walk and library trip today. An art project, and someone needs to write thank you notes.
In the kitchen… fried rice or frozen tortellini for dinner tonight.
I am wearing… jammies. I should get dressed.
I am creating… back to the presents.
I am going… to enjoy a calm week. Lord willing.
I am wondering… at the Way of Righteousness that the Lord trod.
I am reading… The Two Towers. Finished Fellowship of the Ring on Saturday.
I am hoping… to get our routine back together.
I am looking forward to… the end of soccer season. I love the season, but it is so busy!
I am hearing… children playing and not doing chores [frown]
Around the house… party yesterday, things look pretty good. Need to do the last dishwasher load from the party and it’ll be all put away.
I am pondering… checking out Thanksgiving books.
One of my favorite things… library book sales … I got several things I’m excited about, not the least of which is Eating the Plates. I don’t have to check that one out.
A few plans for the rest of the week: a bit of soccer and a lot of lessons. My sister’s Fall Festival and Jason’s cousin’s wedding.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing… We made the front of the local paper …
