The Simple Woman’s Daybook for March 7, 2011
FOR TODAY March 7, 2011…
Outside my window… the sky is grey and it is kinda cold. Vestiges of snow cling to plants.
I am thinking… about God’s providence in all things.
I am thankful for… that providence.
From the learning rooms… We’ll be starting to learn about Sumer this week, try to catch up on our Plant lessons, and have other fun things planned. Who knew planning would make me more excited about the week? :p
From the kitchen… well, that’s another story all together. Probably baked chicken, asparagus, and sweet potatoes. If I get my act together.
I am wearing… jammies … Buckeye jammies.
I am creating… Sumerian seals with the children.
I am going… to clean the kitchen.
I am reading… The Abyssinian and should be reading 10 Ways to Destroy … but I didn’t get much read in either last week.
I am hoping… to read more and to fold a lot of laundry.
I am hearing… the children stirring.
Around the house… laundry, straightening, vacuuming, kitchen cleanup. Plenty to keep me out of trouble.
One of my favorite things… watching N-boy falling in love with Legos.
A few plans for the rest of the week: the usual and a retreat committee meeting.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing…

My men (both young & old) love legos too. 🙂 They're great… until you step on one.
