The Simple Woman’s Daybook for March 21, 2011

FOR TODAY   Monday March 21, 2011…

Outside my window… spring is springing … the grass is greening … the birds are singing … the crocus are blossoming …

I am thinking… Hooray for Spring!

I am thankful for… our pastor having the opportunity to have a sabbatical!

From the learning rooms… quiet today as I’m feeling ucky.

From the kitchen… Hm, probably Trader Joe’s Taquitos, salsa, guacamole, refried beans …. unless Jason wants to bring home pizza for dinner.

I am wearing… jammies still.

I am creating… Circle Time list for the week.

I am going… to enjoy being home.  And nap time.

I am reading… One Thousand Gifts, Ten Ways to Destroy …, and In the Company of Others (Jan Karon)

I am hoping… to do some reading today.  Or some listening.  Or watch Latin.  We’ll see.

I am hearing… Toddler Tunes on the TV and children eating lunch in the kitchen.

Around the house… laundry, kitchen, loft could all use some attention they’re not going to get today.  I did catch up on the laundry some on Saturday … did a bunch of ironing for Jason, so much that I killed the iron and had to order a new one.

One of my favorite things…  Hummus and Tabbouleh for lunch.

A few plans for the rest of the week: piano, choir, gym.  My parents are taking N-boy to see Stuart Little, so we need to finish that book, too!

Here is picture for thought I am sharing…

  1. Sorry you are not feeling well! I'm in love w/ hummus & hard boiled eggs for lunch lately- so easy!!! I worked on memory time ("circle time") lists this morning also…. before my computer died. Sigh.
