The Simple Woman’s Daybook for March 14, 2011
FOR TODAY March 14, 2011…
Outside my window… the sun is starting to rise … at 7 am-ish.
I am thinking… it’s kinda nice to see the sunrise … at a “reasonable” hour.
I am thankful for… my nephew who turned 4 yesterday!
From the learning rooms… I think we’re learning about the Hebrews in history this week.
From the kitchen… baked chicken tonight, but Corned Beef, Cabbage, and Soda Bread on Thursday.
I am wearing… my black sweat suit with a bright yellow t-shirt.
I am creating… my brackets for the Big Dance … Go Buckeyes!
I am going… hopefully we’ll have a chance to run to the library today.
I am reading… Your Home: A Place of Grace for a book club and The Abyssinian (it is good but slow going).
I am hoping… the time change didn’t mess the children up too much.
I am hearing… NPR from the bedroom.
Around the house… still need to fold laundry, but otherwise in pretty good shape. Might do a “learning room” spring clean challenge …
One of my favorite things… Whole Foods’ Zargoza / Mexican Blend coffee and pumpkin muffins made from my SIL’s recipe.
A few plans for the rest of the week: gym, choir, piano, watching a friends’ boys today, library. The usual.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing…
