The Simple Woman’s Daybook for August 8, 2011

FOR TODAY August 8, 2011 …

Outside my window…
humid, but not so crazy hot.

I am thinking… about which library books need returned and which need collected.

I am thankful… for a great project day!

From the learning rooms… we did science, history, and art projects this morning. And Bible. Woo-hoo!

In the kitchen… leftovers tonight … another woo-hoo!

I am wearing… jeans shorts and green shirt.

I am creating… Christmas presents for the grandparents [shhh]

I am going… to the library and then home to babysit Anna’s children.

I am wondering… at God’s creating a House for His Name. Great sermon yesterday from Nathan Ketchen!

I am reading… R&S English 2 and 3 … that I found for $1 apiece.

I am hoping… for nice weather this week.

I am looking forward to… a quiet week. Last week ended up being busy!

I am hearing… dogs panting, but I paused a talk by Andrew Kern on A Celebration of Order from CiRCE’s new free digital download library. Yahoo!

Around the house… I vacuumed up and down this morning. A good improvement. Our new chore system seems to be going well.

I am pondering… lunch. It’s that time.

One of my favorite things… coffee. Whole Foods’ Zargoza in particular. I’m still drinking mine from this morning.

A few plans for the rest of the week: School and pool 🙂

Here is picture for thought I am sharing…
