Simple Woman’s Daybook for August 27, 2012

FOR TODAY

Outside my window… overcast and comfortable.

I am thinking… about mac and cheese. 

I am thankful… for our pastor who preaches about joy.  Yesterday’s sermon was such a blessing to me!

In the kitchen… I need to come up with a plan for meals this week!

I am wearing… jean shorts and coral blouse.

I am creating… a cleaner house 🙂

I am going… to go grocery shopping.

I am wondering… at the spiritual and mystical yet very real union and communion with Christ and how we are filled with joy from him.  Seriously, great sermon yesterday. 

I am reading… Summer of the Great-Grandmother. 

I am hoping… to finish it and Moonwalking with Einstein soon.

I am looking forward to… quiet time.  (just being honest here!)

I am learning… about the sun and its positions and time telling and words.  Loving Signs & Seasons.

Around the house… worked hard on Saturday, things are pretty good today.  I even vacuumed this morning.

I am pondering… how quickly a shedding dog can make it look like I didn’t vacuum.
