The Simple Woman’s Daybook for April 26, 2010
FOR TODAY April 26, 2010…
Outside my window… is a rainy spring day. A little late for the April showers to bring May flowers, isn’t it?
I am thinking… that the loft really really needs cleaning. And how could we rearrange the space?
I am thankful for… this being Jason’s last full week with his team.
From the learning rooms… Circle Time was difficult, clean-up time is going a bit better.
From the kitchen… Crockpot Lasagna. Yum.
I am wearing… sweat pants and my tie-dyed rainbow UUNET shirt; some brightness to cheer on the gloomy day.
I am creating… a clean upstairs.
I am going… to continue copying Proverbs in my Journible. This discipline has been such an encouragement, and I’m only on Chapter 3.
I am reading… Norms and Nobility, A Ring of Endless Light, The Bible and the Task of Teaching.
I am hoping… to finish a book or two this week as I’m several behind in the 52 Books in 52 Weeks challenge, still.
I am hearing… children playing “being chefs” and “going to the hospital.” That is a bit disconcerting.
Around the house… there is a lot to be done.
One of my favorite things… children playing.
A few plans for the rest of the week: gym, soccer, Indianapolis.
A picture thought I am sharing:

Patricia has enjoyed her copybook also- she finished the first chapter of Proverbs last week.
Your post is adorable. Crockpot Lasagna sounds yummy! Sincerely hope it doesn't send anyone to the hospital! 😉 I've never heard of a journible. Will have to look into that!
New follower from the Daybook.
