The Simple Woman’s Daybook for April 16, 2012

FOR TODAY

Outside my window… birds a twittering and the sun arises … lovely and warm today.

I am thinking… how nice it is to have a week off!

I am thankful… for Jason’s job which affords him this week.

In the kitchen… N-boy is making toast for breakfast.

I am wearing… shorts (!) and short-sleeved purple top.

I am creating… a conference schedule – yippee!

I am going… to the pediatrician this morning with M-girl and N-boy … and back Wednesday with R-girl.

I am wondering… at God’s graciousness … to me and my children.

I am reading… The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion for my book club.

I am hoping… I finish it before our meeting tonight.

I am looking forward to… CONFERENCE!

I am learning… about truth, goodness, and beauty.

Around the house… it isn’t very beautiful … there’s a lot to be done.

I am pondering… how to incorporate truth, goodness, and beauty even more into our days.
