The Simple Woman’s Daybook for April 11, 2011
FOR TODAY Monday, April 11, 2011 …
Outside my window… it finally seems like spring … yesterday was sunny and today is rainy but warm enough to have windows open and hear the birds.
I am thinking… about my children and their individual needs.
I am thankful for… Pastor Tyson supplying the pulpit so Pastor Kessler could have a brief sabbatical.
From the learning rooms… we read about seeds and germination today.
From the kitchen… that is a very good question. I’m thinking Peanut Butter chicken …
I am wearing… black skirt and purple short sleeved blouse.
I am creating… clean laundry … two loads folded, two more loads in the washer and dryer … maybe two more to go. Maybe.
I am going… to have a busy week.
I am reading… Your Home: A Place of Grace … before Thursday! Three chapters to go.
I am hoping… the ideas aren’t all about hiding veggies in brownies …
I am hearing… children performing a puppet show.
Around the house… the school room could use some attention … especially adding my convention purchases in …
One of my favorite things… N-boy’s reading to me … less than 100 lessons until he’s done!
A few plans for the rest of the week: A meeting tomorrow at Whole Foods with their Customer Advisory Panel (any suggestions?) They’re going to talk about getting children to eat healthily, we’ll see. I’m going to try to call it a “Field Trip”. And Book Club on Thursday; our first meeting! Soccer starts on Saturday at 8 am [fainting].
Here is picture for thought I am sharing…
He finished through another sticker chart! Need to celebrate! |

Good job N-boy on working diligently with your lessons! 🙂
What book study are you joining?
Tell WF to get larger carts! 🙂
N-boy says, Thanks!
Several of us decided to do a Book Club (not a study per se) where we discuss a new book each month together for fun … mostly it is people who have come since you left …
I already told them, but plan on reminding them! 🙂
