The Simple Woman’ Daybook for October 4, 2010

FOR TODAY   October 4, 2010…

Outside my window… it has turned cold and rainy.

I am thinking… about starting supper.

I am thankful for… a day home in my nice, warm home.

From the learning rooms… we started “For All the Saints” as our hymn this month.

From the kitchen… fried rice! Yay! Plus, I baked two smaller chickens instead of one big chicken on Saturday, so I have plenty of chicken for enchiladas this week.

I am wearing… reddish sweatshirt and blue and green plaid pajama pants (not the ones I wore last night and very very comfy)

I am creating… routines.

I am going… to enjoy my day home.

I am reading… some conglomeration of books.

I am hoping… to straighten the school room this week.

I am hearing… M-girl read The Jesus Storybook Bible to her brother and sister.

Around the house… things are int pretty good shape.  Now to keep it that way.  I do seriously need to fold laundry.

One of my favorite things… hearing M-girl read 🙂

A few plans for the rest of the week: choir, gym, soccer, our friends coming over on Friday to play & lunch.  Maybe some others on Saturday for football.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing…

  1. I got them at United Artists with a coupon.

We have the Starter Set, which is the pictured one. and we have the 30 piece Deluxe Set which is different sized pieces from the starter set.

It looks like it is better priced to buy both from Rainbow if you have a big enough order.
