The Simple Woman’ Daybook for March 22, 2010
FOR TODAY March 22, 2010…
Outside my window… rain is raining.
I am thinking… at least it isn’t snow flurries like I read Atlanta is getting
I am thankful for… a warm, dry house and that Jason could take a sick day today.
From the learning rooms… they’re quiet today … it is hard when Mommy & Daddy are sick 🙁
From the kitchen… ricotta cheese pancakes. Uses up leftover ricotta, adds protein. Win-win.
I am wearing… my green jammies.
I am creating… meals from an empty-ish larder.
I am going… maybe to the doctor, if I can convince Jason to go.
I am reading… the last bit of Liping Ma’s book, and The Arm of the Starfish by L’Engle.
I am hoping… to feel better soon.
I am hearing… Telemann “Suite for Orchestra in CMajor, TWv55:G 7” … or so says the cable channel playing it.
Around the house… the children are playing, the dogs are laying, and Jason and I are coughing up our lungs.
One of my favorite things… bristle blocks and legos … and the children have started to see the possibilities. (I almost put, “Not coughing up my lung.”
A few plans for the rest of the week: haven’t really thought about it. Um, gym today (maybe), R-girl overnight at Mama & Papa’s. Children spring clothing shopping.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing…

I tried to leave this comment earlier but my computer froze…
So sorry to hear that you and Jason are sick! It is never fun to be sick and it is esp hard when it is the parents! 🙁
I'm clothes shopping this week also. Wanna go together?
