The Simple Woman’ Daybook for June 28, 2010
FOR TODAY June 28, 2010 (Eek! Almost July) …
Outside my window… wet and grey after thunderstorms in the night and more projected for today.
I am thinking… about school planning and how to have things prepared ahead of time so there isn’t so much last-minuteness.
I am thankful for… the ability to home educate my children.
From the learning rooms… we’re adding back in the individual lessons this week. Circle Time, individual lessons. Next week we’ll add our group lessons (Spanish, Geography)
From the kitchen… Enchiladas for supper from leftover chicken.
I am wearing… long black shorts & sleeveless tan shirt.
I am creating… files in my head.
I am going… nowhere today. Hooray!
I am reading… Hm. Dunno right now, finished my book Saturday and haven’t chosen something new yet. Maybe Siblings without Rivalry, but I’m not very inspired at the moment.
I am hoping… to have a good school time in about an hour. I suppose I ought to go awaken the boy.
I am hearing… the girl children playing together in the basement and the air conditioner.
Around the house… Oh, the washer stopped, time to swap the laundry. And the dishwasher needs emptied.
One of my favorite things… children who sleep in and stay quiet in the mornings. Mommy is not a morning person.
A few plans for the rest of the week: the pool, dog sitting for my brother & his wife’s dog, mostly school and not much else.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing… I always get to the picture and forget that I need to find one … hm, here:

Ah, sweet! It is good to see a pic of YOU vs the children. We are missing lessons here, having had more time off than we expected due to my traveling & now vacation. Miss the structure to our day! Oh, and it was good to see a pic of J too. 😉
