The Simple Woman’ Daybook for July 19, 2010
FOR TODAY July 19, 2010…
Outside my window… the ground is wet, the sun is shining, and the birds are tweeting. The garden is growing by leaps and bounds. Lovely morning.
I am thinking… so much my head is spinning. School, school planning, trip to Atlanta prep, flower garden ideas, food, aaah! Make it stop!
I am thankful for… the opportunity to think on all of the things above. The Lord has provided bountifully for me.
From the learning rooms… we’re going to get back on track with Geography this week. Europe!
From the kitchen… I don’t have big cooking plans, it is too hot. But I did make Strawberry Shortcakes and homemade ice cream on Saturday that were divine. Who’s ever heard of putting egg in your shortcakes?
I am wearing… jeans shorts and purple blouse.
I am creating… clean laundry!
I am going… to go to Office Max and Meijer and maybe the pool if the thunder storms hold off.
I am reading… still The Core.
I am hoping… to finish The Core this week and review.
I am hearing… birds, the a/c unit, children’s voices, the washing machine clicking off.
Around the house… my friend was here Friday and we rearranged the living room. I like it a lot!
One of my favorite things… visiting friends, here or there 🙂
A few plans for the rest of the week: school, shopping, a baby shower on Saturday for Jason’s Aunt’s step-granddaughter.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing…

We're looking forward to the Atlanta trip! Yeah- it is only 2 weeks away! Wait- ahhh! I need to do prep too!!!
You sound busy. I seem to never finish the laundry. My daughter went to Atlanta on vacation to see the Braves play. She enjoyed it. I hope you do too. I like the picture you shared. Have a great week, Doylene
