The Simple Woman’ Daybook for January 4, 2010

FOR TODAY
January 4, 2010…
Outside my window… there is a sufficiency of snow. And more to come.
I am thinking… it is entirely too early in the morning to be awake. Yes, I know it is 8 am.
I am thankful for… my nice, warm house … and that I don’t have to go out in the snow for a while.
From the learning rooms… there is a great deal of organizing to be done to start school next week.
From the kitchen… coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.
I am wearing… my jammies and a blanket.
I am creating… lesson plans for next week!
I am going… to the Jungle Gym for tumbling this evening.
I am reading… I haven’t decided yet … Climbing Parnassus? The Excellent Wife? Persuasion? Shepherding a Child’s Heart? So many good books, so little time.
I am hoping… in the character and work of Christ Jesus.
I am hearing… Curious George.
Around the house… the Christmas tree still dominates the family room.
One of my favorite things… I got a tea ball and loose leaf tea for Christmas, and I didn’t know what I was missing. It is so good, no sweetener needed even.
A few plans for the rest of the week: N-boy’s birthday tomorrow! He’s going to be 4 (how did that happen?)
Here is picture for thought I am sharing… Sir N-boy, almost 4

  1. LOVE this- I'm totally stealing the idea for my blog! Thanks!

Enjoyed the pic of Nate- oh, how my boys would love to come over and play.

  2. I'm going to play with my formatting (hard returns & bolding) next week. But, yeah, it was fun 🙂

He would love to play too!
