The Simple Woman’ Daybook for January 17, 2011

FOR TODAY January 17, 2010 ….

Outside my window… it may be cold, but the sun is shining.

I am thinking… or maybe I’m not.

I am thankful for… Jason’s bank job which gives him the day off!

From the learning rooms… Circle Time done, next up is R-girl’s school: phonics and math.

From the kitchen… Baked Chicken tonight!

I am wearing… sweat pants and Buckeye 2002 National Championship long sleeved t-shirt.

I am creating… posts in my head … I’ll try and post them soon 🙂

I am going… nowhere today!

I am reading… Island of the World … beautifully written. Sad at the moment.

I am hoping… I can finish it before it has to be returned … I got it Interlibrary loan [eep]

I am hearing… children playing legos and the teapot starting to get warm.

Around the house… the laundry needs folded, our luggage needs unpacked from the weekend, and vacuuming and mopping need done.

One of my favorite things… my new Miele Titan vacuum and new Shark Steam Mop. Quality tools make cleaning work better.

A few plans for the rest of the week: lessons, gym, piano, and back to our regular schedule. Starting back to Recitation on Saturday.
