The Simple Woman’ Daybook for February 22, 2010

FOR TODAY   February 23, 2009..

Outside my window… the snow is melting and the fog is dense.  The new puppy is running chasing Sandy about.

I am thinking… about getting breakfast started.  Oatmeal, yum.

I am thankful for… oh so many things; the puppy, staying with my children, breakfast choices, a decent night’s sleep.

From the learning rooms… We’re studying Argentina and started Spanish! We canceled lessons last week due to illness, so we have to make up our study.

From the kitchen… no real grocery trip last week (a quick stop on Saturday to get puppy things and a few staples) , thankful for a stocked pantry! We’re having Pasta and Salad tonight.

I am wearing… jeans and a pink 3/4 sleeve sweater.

I am creating… I’m going to try to sew my skirt sometime this week.  We’ll see.

I am going… to take the children & puppy for a walk.

I am reading… Climbing Parnassus.  Redeeming Science. Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.

I am hoping… in the blood of the lamb.

I am hearing… N-boy helicoptering, “chop-chop-chop-chop …”

Around the house… laundry is behind and the house needs cleaned.

One of my favorite things… my laptop computer.

A few plans for the rest of the week: home after worship on the Lord’s Day, grocery trip, story time at the library.  Read!
