The Simple Woman’ Daybook for December 6, 2010

FOR TODAY   Monday December 6, 2010…

Outside my window… There’s a bit of snow.  And I had to go out in it.

I am thinking… about Christmas.  And Decorating.  And Shopping.

I am thankful for… Jason’s time off and time with us.  We loved having him home so much!

From the learning rooms… catch-up on Jesse Tree from the weekend.

From the kitchen… Christmas cut-outs with my parents and niece and nephew tomorrow.  Fun!

I am wearing… jeans, grey sweater, and BOOTS

I am creating… this years’ ornaments for the children.

I am going… already at the Jungle Gym.  Hooray for free Wi-Fi!

I am reading… Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus edited by Nancy Guthrie.  It is an essay-a-day kinda book.  And I’m enjoying it!

I am hoping… to finish the decorating today.  Dining Room and loft roping to go.

I am hearing… gym class instructions.

Around the house… laundry, ironing, laundry.  [sigh]

One of my favorite things… I love eggnog.  I love when I can buy it in the stores.  Yum.

A few plans for the rest of the week: piano lessons, cookies, gym, Bible Study, Mom’s Breakfast with friends.  Somewhere to go every day.
