The Simple Woman’ Daybook for April 19, 2010
FOR TODAY April 19, 2010…
Outside my window… is a dark sky. It is later than I usually post.
I am thinking… about learning, virtue, and how education ties together.
I am thankful for… quiet evenings with my husband.
From the learning rooms… we’re starting to study Europe this week.
From the kitchen… leftovers cleared out of the fridge, tomorrow roast in the crockpot.
I am wearing… jeans and a black top.
I am creating… thoughts about self-education and next year’s curriculum plans (nothing concrete yet, just thoughts).
I am going… to gym tomorrow for M-girl.
I am reading… Norms & Nobility, Homeschooling with a Meek & Quiet Spirit, a handful of other books.
I am hoping… to finish a book or two this week as I’m several behind in the 52 Books in 52 Weeks challenge.
I am hearing… the University of Michigan spring game … some college football is better than no college football (even U of M!)
Around the house… there is a lot to be done.
One of my favorite things… college football.
A few plans for the rest of the week: gym, soccer, M-girl & N-boy to Seussical the Musical with my folks. Town Hall Meeting at church.
