My mother-in-law picked The First Years of Forever up at a garage sale for us and I’ve slowly been reading a chapter, page, or paragraph at a time here and there and it’s a pretty good book. The subtitle says “For Engaged and Newly Married Couples.” Some of it would’ve been nice to read prior to marriage, but so far I think I’ve been better able to understand what its saying since we’ve been married. This book is definitely *not* for young reading as it gets somewhat detailed about private marital matters. About the best thing though, is that the authors are Christians and are pulling in a Christian perspective using scripture to back up their arguments.
