Jason and I went to see the CSO‘s “Spectacular Season Opener“ with my brother and sister-in-law on Friday evening. I really enjoyed the Tchaikovsky piece and didn’t care so much for the Copland (although in my limited experience, I generally like Copland) The pianist was entertaining to watch on the Piano Concerto. The Symphony No 3 had some uncomfortable to listen to highs and chords that made me not like it so much.

We had a good time, though.
