I awoke at 5 this morning to use the bathroom and peeked out the front window to see snow all over the lawn, but not on the road/driveway. I thought, “This is good.”

By 7, however, the roads were covered too and 3-5 inches of the stuff was all over my car and still falling pretty hard.

My commute was fine once I got to the freeway, but they hadn’t cleared the main road between our house and the freeway. It only took an extra 10 minutes or so.

As I said in the comments to my last post, I’m slowly getting some energy back, so last night I took down the Christmas village and the end of the winter decorations … just in time for all the snow.
