Our friend from church spent almost a year as an Au Pair in Germany last year, so we scheduled a time she could come share some pictures and stories with the children of her time overseas. For snack, the children and I baked soft pretzels (yummy and easy with my bread machine’s recipe). Tonight, we had our German meal: sauerkraut and brats, spaetzle, pumpernickel bread, and strudel (well, we had danish, but that is close enough right?!) The children enjoyed apple cider while Jason had a beer, and Chloe and I a German Riesling.

Looks yummy & fun! GREAT job!
Oh, that looks like FUN! (But isn't everything so much better when there's food involved?)
