FOR TODAY October 24, 2011…

Outside my window… cold and rainy … maybe thunderstorms later.

I am thinking… we need to replace the light fixture in the laundry.

I am thankful… for a wonderful, busy weekend.

From the learning rooms… more Greeks, the five senses, and more.

In the kitchen… transitioning from summer foods to winter & fall foods. 

I am wearing… jeans skirt and black sweater.

I am creating… I really need to bring up those Christmas presents and get back to work.

I am going… to stay home today.  Ah.

I am wondering… if we’ll enjoy Mary Poppins as a read-aloud.

I am reading… The Two Towers, still.

I am hoping… to see pictures of little Emily soon …

I am looking forward to… making art with friends on Wednesday.

I am hearing… dishwasher, washing machine, playing children.

Around the house… we need to get back into our chore habits.  Good start this morning.

I am pondering… clearing out our garden and herbs.

One of my favorite things… cutting fresh herbs off the deck for cooking.

A few plans for the rest of the week: last soccer game for M-girl, piano lessons, choir, art … nice and quiet.
