Barbara Kingsolver has evidently written an Op-Ed piece for the LA Times that espouses the current misconception that love is ooshy-gooshy and does not include respect, justice, or discipline. I tried to read her Poisonwood Bible this past spring and found it to be slow, wordy, and dull. (I never finished)
