Book Review: A Redbird Christmas by Fannie Flagg
A Redbird Christmas by Fannie Flagg
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
Own. But probably not for long.
This was a simple, easy read. It was sensational (view spoiler) , emotional (view spoiler) , and led the reader by the nose (view spoiler) .
I wanted something light after finishing Wolf Hall, but this was, perhaps, too light and airy for my tastes. Flagg gets two stars for an imaginative story and several characters who are well developed.
Now I feel like the Grinch.</[“br”]></[“br”]></[“br”]></[“br”]></[“br”]></[“br”]>
