The Waiting Sands by Susan Howatch My rating: 4 of 5 stars Library.  Reread. I love Susan Howatch.  Nice, clean romantic suspense set in the wilds of Scotland.  Well written, the story hangs together pretty well and the plot moves pretty quickly.  Complicated characters leave you guessing.  Great beach read 🙂 View all my reviews
